WORSHIP

In all our worship experiences, we strive to meet people where they are. It is a ministry with a passion to give God our very best! Instrumentalists, vocalists and many other gifted people that share their talents to create a space where God’s people can “worship in spirit and truth.” Currently, the Worship Ministry is comprised of a Ministry Team, Creative Planning Team, Sanctuary Choir, Hand Bell Choir, Praise Band, Livestream and Media Crews who meet regularly.

Also, the congregation includes a number of world class instrumentalists, vocalists, conductors, composers and visual artists and who regularly contribute to the worship experience. Musical styles range from Bach to Bluegrass, Classical to Contemporary.

Traditional Worship

Our Traditional Worship at 8:30 and 10 a.m. on Sunday offers the time-honored music and traditions along with a freshness and passion that makes this time alive and exciting! With one of the finest pipe organs in the region, the music, readings, and Biblical preaching all combine to shape an experience deeply rooted in tradition and powerfully relevant in your life today. We live stream our 8:30 a.m. service only.

Modern Worship

Our Modern Worship at 11 a.m. on Sunday combined multi-media, art, a talented worship band and media crew, and traditional liturgy that results in something fresh, new, and at the same time very familiar.

 Worship Ministry Team

Meets monthly and focuses on logistics and administration for the entire the Worship Ministry. If you would like more information about this team, please contact the church office at 513-932-2751.

Creative Planning Team

Meets quarterly and is charged with creative planning for all worship services. We are always looking for creative people to join this exciting adventure! If you are a “worker bee” who loves to make things happen, you are needed on this team. If you would like more information on how you can be part of the creative process, contact the church office at 513-932-2751.

Live Stream/Media Teams

The media teams, or The Crew, include volunteers from the congregation who operate sound, lights, cameras, media, and livestream for all worship services. It is an exciting team to be a part of, where the only requirements are availability to serve on a rotating schedule and a willingness to learn. Contact Jerry Hentschel at glhentschel@gmail.com for more information.

Sanctuary Choir

From September through May, our Sanctuary Choir provides music for the traditional services with roughly 30 volunteer vocalists of various ages and backgrounds. Anyone 15 or older is welcome to sing with this amazing group of people. There is no audition process and all skill levels are welcome. Hand Bell Choir

Handbell choir is truly an ensemble for people of all musical abilities. Can you read music? Great! We’ll give you multiple bells to ring! Don’t know how to read music? No problem! We’ll give you one bell and highlight all your notes. Are you interested? If so, we’d love to have you! Our season runs September through May. We rehearse from 6:15-7:45 p.m. on Wednesdays, and play in worship during one service per month. Contact Rachael Earley with questions at 513-265-1205.

Praise Band

LPC’s worship band, BETTERonSUNDAY, get their name from a strong understanding of their reliance on God, to be the people and the band God wants them to be. The band is serious about their call and laid back in their approach. Contact the church office at 513-932-2751 for more information.
