This class is an open and engaging discussion of the scriptures and how biblical principles apply to us in today’s world. Sessions are for adults of all ages and offer friendly inviting fellowship, lively commentary and delicious light refreshments. We use the Lifeway for Adults series booklets that are provided. This fall we will start with “How God Speaks to Us.” Then, we will spend time reviewing the “Generosity Project” and finish up the quarter with “Forgiveness.” Please come join us. We would love to meet you and have your input in this class. The classes are led by Bernie Uchtman, Ron Warncke, Mark Pierett, and Harold Grice.

Seeking Adults Learning Together. This class is a fellowship that welcomes adults of all ages to join in learning opportunities that will feed our faith. We involve our group in studies and discussions that affect current life issues and how we should live and learn by following Jesus Christ’s example. Led by Larry Bracey.

Led by Gary Ensing. This group is for all ages who want to meet in a fun, relaxed setting for fellowship and to explore the Word of God. We use Right Now Media videos followed by open discussion. The Bible-in-Life class challenges each person to grow spiritually and relationally with great conversations about the Bible verses we are studying, and how they apply to our lives today. The lessons are taken from Joshua, Judges and 1 Samuel. Joshua emphasizes hospitality, humility and divine provision. In Judges we find out what happens when we ignore God and His ways, and in 1 Samuel we learn from Samuel’s spiritual leadership and David’s transition from being a shepherd to shepherding God’s people, foreshadowing the greater King and Shepherd to come.

This group is designed to support and encourage parents in the stages of their parenting journey. We gather to explore biblical principles, share experiences, and grow together in faith and parenting.

We offer:

• Supportive Community: A safe space to share joys, challenges, and receive prayer and support from fellow parents.

• Family-Friendly Environment: Children Sunday School and nursery provided, allowing parents to focus and engage fully.

Men of LPC meet every Thursday (except major holidays) from September 10 through May 27 at 7:00 p.m. in Room 313. We study God’s Word in an unhurried forum, discussing and sharing one another’s insights, questions and prayers as we dig down into God’s inspired, holy word. Come and grow together with us in fellowship and discipleship. We believe we are led through this experience by the Holy Spirit as He inspires each of our fellow students and we work together to increase our understanding and grow in relationship with our Lord. The class is coordinated by Ron Benedict and Mike Dunn. This year, we will begin with Luke’s account of the passion and resurrection of Jesus. That will be followed by Luke’s reporting of the amazing establishment and growth of Christ’s church as recorded in the Book of Acts. The only resource material you need for this class is your Bible. Women’s Bible Study will meet on Thursday, September 24th through November 5th meeting in Community Room 102 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Our study this fall is “Jesus and Women” with Kristi McLelland, a video and discussion-based Bible study that will take us back to Jesus’ first-century world, explaining the historical and cultural climate of His day to help us know Him more dearly.
