Playschool is a tuition-free preschool program proudly sponsored by Lebanon Presbyterian Church to help serve the needs of our community. Each year, we welcome twelve 4-year-olds into our program. The only fee we charge is $3 per week for snacks. Children living within the city limits of Lebanon are picked up each morning on the church bus and brought to Playschool. However, transportation home is not provided. Playschool operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Here's how our morning unfolds:

9:00 – 9:15: Welcome and Circle Time

9:15 – 10:20: Centers (Art, Writing, Calm Center, Library, Dramatic Play, Toys)

10:30 – 10:50: Snack

10:50 – 11:10: Recess

11:10 – 11:30: Stories, Songs, and Packing Up

We also offer Music Class and Chapel once a week, and the children enjoy a variety of fun and educational field trips throughout the year. These include visits to Grandma’s Gardens, the Lebanon Public Library, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Gorman Heritage Farm, Caesar Creek Flat Fork Ridge Playground, LaRosa’s, and the Cincinnati Zoo.

Family involvement is always encouraged and celebrated! We organize exciting events like our Pizza & Pumpkin Painting Night and the beloved Nativity Story Play at Christmas, where each child has a role and wears a costume—truly a cherished tradition at Playschool.

Playschool incorporates Creative Curriculum and Handwriting Without Tears, all while emphasizing learning through play!
